Dubuque Trip Day 1 ~ 2022

Today we arrived in Iowa after a 3 hour drive. We made friendship bracelets the whole way up, we also stopped at Culver's and sat outside and talked for a while. We are staying at an amazing home, the owner of the home is playing on redesigning for a client at Hill and Dales, which is so cool! We are so happy and grateful to be staying here! Mrs. Martin teaching us how to flush the toilet was the best part! After we got some notes about the history of Hills and Dales and the house itself we went on a little walk. We walked to Marshall Park and looked at the veterans memorial as well as fireflies which we tried but unfortunately couldn't catch. There was a bell there too, which we rang quickly but stop because of how loud it was. A lot of us are looking forward to the Zoo on Tuesday.
